Princess Sara grew up in Västra Ämtervik near the Värmlandish town of Sunne. She has a degree in fashion design from the Istituto Marangoni in London. The Princess lives in Karlstad and is currently the only person in Lorenzburg who holds a princely rank without being a member of the reigning princely house.
